Character History
Evalynn was due to watch her younger sister married at the age of 16, a joyous and prosperous wedding for the just matured lady. Her mother created her dress, and her father and Evalynn's husband hunted the beasts for her feast. But when the day had come and the people were gathering, hunters had descended upon their Hold and began killing her people. Fear took hold of her as she watched her husband and father attempt to fight off the invaders. It wasn't until her mother snapped her out of the trance that she was finally able to run. She followed her mother and younger sister through the battlefield before they were separated by a massive fight, resulting in her having to run in an opposite direction from her family.
From here, she would remember her mother had once guided them through the winter land that was once their peaceful hold. They came upon a building they used for raising their animals and would take her to the very back. With quick movements, Evalynn would stuff herself into a deep, underground shaft used to discard droppings and would stay quiet with hope her family was okay.
After the sounds of battle subsided and two more days had passed, an exhausted and very starved Evalynn crawled her way out of the shaft. What she came to see was not something she could ever put into proper words. The once white, peaceful lands was stained in forever red and the calming skies was over casted in dark black smoke. Bodies of her people and companions littered the grounds and a thick cloud of black smoke smoldered from what was once her home. Evalynn was now all on her own, being forced to live in a world that wanted her people dead.
