Nex smiled, glad to bring such happiness to such nice strangers, even though he wasn't sure what he had done to do that, besides offering his company. Still the exitement from Odis pleased him, and did more than enough to make him feel welcome. Such kindness was not always such easy to find in such times, and in a strange city none the less.

"A bed sounds lovely" he replied, all of a sudden feeling very tired, and weary, as his travels catched up to him. Sleeping in a soft bed sounded just as pleasant to him, just as much as stretching out under green grass in the warm sun. A meal, and a bed, these where good folks, and he didn't expect them to do anything nefarious to him in his sleep. He slowly stood up and scratched Odis's head, before going to the bed Ricky so kindly rolled out for him.

Ricky finally placed a candle not to far from the door way so that if Nex needed to see his way out the path would be illuminated, he wished Nex good night and trudged straight to bed. Odis laid stretched out next to it, which made Ricky chuckle. He didn't expect that his company would become a traveling companion in one night, but it was in fact good. Nex is a favorable companion to them both, and surely his goals to be leaving Zeltiva weren't a coincidence.

The gods must favor us... they really must...either that or we're both incredibly lucky.

With that last thought he blew out the candle in their room, and he laid on the bed. Tomorrow morning he would wake up early, get Odis a gift, and come back quick enough to make breakfast. But for now all he wanted was to sleep, in the lousy but comfortable bed he had underneath him.

The bed he layed in he found rather comfortable, compared to the hard ground of course, and the only thing that would be better than this would be laying on a warm patch of grass, he mused. He smiled at the fond memories it brought up. Needless to say although, he felt instantly to sleep in the soft enough bed, and enjoyed rather sweet and cozy dreams, thanks in no small part to the generosity and hospitality of his new friend.

XP Award!

Nex
XP Award: Research +2; Larceny OR Stealth +1; Animal Husbandry +1
Lore: Rhysol (basic); Ravok (basic); Eyris (basic)

Ricky
XP Award: Animal Husbandry +2; Cooking +1
Lore: Kelvic (basic)

Additional Notes:
Nice job, folks! You might be surprised how many people have seen a Kelvic’s naughty bits; they always seem to change shapes where people can see. “On accident.” ;)

Anyway, Nex, the Larceny/Stealth is for hiding the books in the library. You can take it as one or other other, whichever you think will best suit your character.

Also, be careful about post length. My philosophy is that quality is more important than quantity, and you should write however much you need to in order that your point get across, but some moderators get a bit tetchy if you post lots of short posts. Just something to keep in mind, but you can always cite the rulebook for awarding Experience Points!

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions or concerns.

Keep writing!
