This neat little cabana was one of Standing Tall's first Sykan contracts on the outskirts of the Commons. Located in close proximity to the Mercantile, Nora's little home and shop is built to house a wide variety of animals both from the jungle and those imported from outside of Syka to give creature comforts to the Sykan's who miss their homelands.
The stock constantly changes, but no animals are ever caged here. They are free to roam about and seemingly follow her as if she raised them from the first crack of their shell or birthed them herself.
Nora is also a wildlife rehabilitater. She specializes in Animal Medicine and works closely with injured creatures to make sure they can have a full and functioning life after something catastrophic has happened to them. Animals that cannot be returned to the wild will often be homed into suitable situations as pets so long as the animal is willing.
The love of cockatoos and parrots brought her to Syka once she heard rumors that all wild birds in Syka had been given the gift of speech. She's endlessly fascinated by these creatures and does a great deal to see to their comfort and survival. Nora often has a multitude of these types of birds either hanging about or living with her, and has a special friend of a white cockatoo called Snow. She is most likely to suggest wild ones as pets to people especially if the individual birds are prone to enjoy human company.
Nora is often looking for help in her capacity of caretaker. She can teach healing to those interested in learning how to heal animals, and is always eager for folks helping her gather supplies or mix food orders.

Nora was born in the heart of The Suvan during a storm. Her life was a whirlwind after that, moving from one place to another, one pod to another, not quite ever fitting in. She, in time, rather than becoming a pod healer, started learning the skills needed to heal the pod's tavan when they got into scrapes and scuffs. Nora held a huge love of life, nature, and medicine. But her rejection of becoming a physical doctor really hurt her and she was often pushed out of this pod or that pod due to conflicts in personality. Nora simply gets along better with animals than people.
Eventually, when the rumors of Syka's speaking birds reached her, she set course for Syka and settled in to join the people there, finding she got along with them far better than she ever had any of her Svefra Pod mates.

The stock for Creature Comforts changes day by day. It always depends on what Nora has come across in her travels or what people have dropped by for her to mend. She always has animal feed in stock or is willing to go collect it for people needing their supplies topped off. She's good at mixing custom seeds and supplying custom foods depending upon the animals in need.
