Hi Folks!
November is upon us. I wanted to make this post in case any of you were up for the NaNo Challenge. Traditionally worldwide and especially in the States, November has been considered the National Novel Writing Month. The idea is that you write 50K words in 30 days... aka the length of a novel. It's not about accuracy, but it's about getting words on paper. We here on Miz do it every year. I know I do it almost every year (maybe every year since it started?)... and this year is no exception.
To sign up, you'll need to post in this post and let us know you are going to sign up.... along with that post a link to your PLOTNOTES and create a post in your plotnotes that will track your NaNo Progress. In that NaNo Progress post, you'll need to track EVERY post you make in November and the word count therein. This must be current daily and by the end of November, it must contain all your posts and the count. Remember, don't count your box codes.
There will be prizes. BIG PRIZES.
You need to do a little over 1600 words a day to finish in 30. It can be done! And in the past, we've had people finish with 150K words... so don't be skeptical. This is a great time to boost your PC's skills, flush out its history, or get those placeholders filled back in. Last year I didn't start (due to my activity at work) until late in the month and I still finished.
You can finish it too!
In the end, you'll get bragging rights and a huge sense of accomplishment if you get your 50K words done. Plus everyone that finishes NaNo will get Prizes. Anyone that tries hard will get prizes too. So please sign up. We will continue to have weekend challenges to help people get their word counts up.
Any questions? Feel free to post here or just let us know in this thread who's up for the challenge.

TLDR - sign up here, post a link to a post in your plotnotes that tracks your NaNo contributions.
