Basic Information Race:Drykas Birthday & Age : 476 A.V. (25 years of age) Gender:Male Physical Description Bellerophon stands at 5'11'' and has a muscular build with wide shoulders and a broad chest. His eyes are a pale blue that shine in sunlight, and his skin is normally pale unless he spends too much time exposed. He keeps his hair short, although it was not always so. He keeps a well trimmed soul-patch of hair beneath his bottom lip. His chest is covered in the elaborate tattoos of the Drykas, and he still wears them proudly. He normally wears hide or leather armor with the current weapon he is using strapped to his back. Character Concept Friendly mannered and as easily to voice his own thoughts as much as any Drykas, Bellerophon gets along with the many people he meets on his journeys. He tends to boast about the monsters he has slain to anyone who will listen, but admittedly does it well. If asked about his past in the clan he always laughs away the question and changes the subject as soon as possible. However, he is more than happy to inform others about the lives of the Drykas people. Always in the mood for a good fight or hunt, Bellerophon lives his life loudly and quickly. Character History Although he tends to avoid the topic, Bellerophon's history has been tragic at points. As a young member of the Emerald Clan, he had been taught the ways of the hunt since he was old enough to ride. There was a definite aptitude in him when on the prowl, and it wasn't long before he was bringing home game larger than those of the other boys and sometimes than the professional hunters. He was an obedient child, well-liked by most the clan. Bellerophon's pivotal moment as a young teenager came when he was out on his own in a hunting trip. He traveled through the grass quietly when he came upon a pack of feeding glassbeaks led by a golden feathered massive male, who immediately attacked when his presence was discovered. The fight was harrowing and gruesome, but eventually Bellerophon won over the pack, worn out and near death. He was found collapsed but breathing amidst the carnage, and when he came to he was hailed as an honorary hunter. But all of this glory was not without envy. Another boy of the same age, Awnvei, hated Bellerophon for the simple fact that more attention was paid to the young prodigy. This hatred peaked when he was honored for the slaying of the pack, and a devious plan began to form in his mind. On the next hunting trip that the boys went on Awnvei's plan set itself into motion. He isolated himself, another hunter, and Bellerophon and with Bellerophon's knife, murdered the other hunter. When the clan discovered this and Awnvei testified against him, Bellerophon suddenly became a criminal. But because he had been honored so recently, it was decided that he would not be executed. Instead, his honor were revoked and he was banished from the clan forever. He was given a small set of supplies and the horse he had befriended (depriving the horse of the rider was seen as a punishment for the horse, who had done nothing) and was told to never return to the Sea of Grass again. Bellerophon wandered for a long time, moving from place to place as safely as possible. He found a purpose when he stumbled upon a long caravan, being besieged by monsters. The guard was failing, and so Bellerophon jumped in. He slaughtered the monsters, saving the caravan. In gratitude they paid him and made a suit of leather from the hides, and Bellerophon realized that this could be a purposed.
