Core of ConceptUnderstand that I have many masks. The Exterior
Slighty higher than the average man that walks around, Toan bears the look of a proper gentleman with proper etiquette to his appearance. With short brown hair that lightens in length and eyes with pale blue hues Toan bears a rather atheletic build that gives one the impression of an acrobat with first glance. Rather a ticky about personal hygiene Toan does his best to look as well as feel clean, as it helps improve the outlook he works to keep around others.
The Interior
Toan is a charming, dashing trickster who uses sharp wit and cunning deceit to attain his goals, preferring to end disputes verbally instead of by force. He is shrewd, calculating, and eccentric with a bold, quirky nature to follow. Although a thief and willing to kill his enemies in a fight, Toan is actually reluctant to kill people who do not actually wish him harm, Toan finds another resort to use such as a distraction or knocking those after him unconscious. A bit egotistical he can be prone to create, or at least contribute, to embellishing in any story based on him, that is if it helps build or improve a better reputation. Toan is a thief and a morally ambiguous character who struggles with what it takes to be a moral person after his periods of honesty seem to fail him. In combat, Toan uses his intelligence to his advantage during fights, exploiting his environment to turn the tables on his foes rather than relying purely on his skill with a weapon. He usually prefers the strategies of non-violent negotiations and turning his enemies against each other, using his reasoning with his negotiations when one obtains the right leverage over another. Often he will try and tempt his enemies away from their murderous intentions, encouraging them to see the bigger picture, and often uses big or complex words to confound his enemies. His true motives usually remain masked, and whether he is honorable or corrupt depends on the perspective of others.

Views
Life Toan's view on life is a simple matter of survival, and that there is a difference between "being alive" and "living" in general. These views however are mostly counter-intuitive that tend to make little or no sense the furthermore they are argued over of course, hence why he spends so little time debating about them and focuses more on trying to follow them. He believes that being alive is the mere act of surviving, but to truly live one has to find that inner sense of purpose and identity in order to truly understand the meaning of living. Therefore choosing to live free doing the things he loves is the only means of actually living in this world.
Death Toan is actually quite afraid of death as it can come so easily and very quickly, and depending on the manner it could be very painful too. Though it isn't any of these things Toan fears when it comes to death, though they are definitely concerns to consider his biggest fear is to die without a memory. To simply die without leaving some sort of mark or impression on the world is the worst way for one to die, as it goes to show no matter how freely one may have lived, they never in some way mattered to the world around them.
Religion Toan holds little views on the Divines but knows they exist, and that they influence the world on a daily basis. He believes that they serve their own agendas thus hardly dwells on who or what they are, in turn counting them as supernatural beings that watch or even walk among the world.
Magic Something that holds little sway over Toan other than a means to an end, magic is that principle where most people are generally fearful of it or caught up in practicing it. For Toan he thinks it a valuable asset to his gain and nothing more, as it can serve a powerful tool for his own gain later on down the lines.
Law By far one of the few things Toan would care to think upon, being a man with a complicated sense of morality he abides by his own set "rules" and even then may elude them when caught in a situation he'd rather escape. He is by far a man that wishes to represent an ideal, and that ideal is freedom itself in a world that confines so many.
Orientation Simply put Toan is a womanizer at heart because when he sets his sights on a lady, he simply doesn't know when to give up on that woman. Off and on he'll attempt to woo another over and over, and even then there is no guarantee he'll settle with just that one. He lacks the ability to make a commitment with others save for business partners, therefore love is nearly out of the question as he simply refuses to be tied or attached to one individual.
