Kit’s eyes are bright blue and expressive. The girl's coppery, wavy hair falls around her shoulders unbound, but usually is tied into a long ponytail in the back. Her nose is sharp on a face dappled with freckles and shaped like a child’s; smooth and flush . . . but she doesn’t wear it like one. Kit is always smirking, laughing when she can, and every expression has an edge to it. She blurs the line between arrogance and confidence.
The girl is thin as a rail and shorter than many children, but healthy for all of that. Tanned from days spent in the open sun. All the fat on her has burned away, and what’s left is supple, whipcord strong; lithe and supple but with clearly defined muscles, a suggestion of girlish curves along her body. She’s restless and full of motion. When she talks, she talks with her hands as much as her mouth, with sharp gestures in all the right places, not in nervous habit but by adding exclamation when just her voice won’t do.
Ionu has left their mark on Kit's left forearm with an intricate triangle that looks inverted no matter what direction you peer from, while an ugly brand of half the black sun has been burned onto the back of Kit's left shoulder.
As Shy
With the help of Ionu's mark Kit has crafted a new face for herself in the form of Shy Carsma. Due to the limits of her Illusionism Kit is forced to work within her own bodily dimensions or risk discovery on touch, and so she remains whipcord thin, athletic and diminutive in stature. In an effort to create as much distance between Kit and Shy as possible, Kit played with her coloration and gave a olive tint to her skin, possibly hinting at some distant Benshiran heritage.
Her hair is an earthy brown that falls easily about her shoulders. Shy's face is missing many of the harsh lines that Kit naturally has, with fuller cheeks and startling blue eyes, leaving a softer, gentler and younger impression. It is also this persona's greatest weakness; while her body is mostly built along the same lines as Kit's, an observant mind who touched it might notice the discrepancy between the feel of Kit's face under their fingers and the look of Shy's.
Apparel
Ravokian_Garb
The clothes Kit initially purchased in Ravok once she obtained her freedom are plain and practical. An array of identical shirts and trousers just in case something rips and tears or is otherwise damaged. Both are dark, almost black. Her shirt sleeves die before they run far past her shoulder, while her trousers are baggy and fall somewhere between her knee and ankle, held up mostly by a belt arrayed with all the little necessities of life.
Courier's_Leathers
In service as a courier Kit wears leather trousers, a leather jacket and a dark shirt underneath it. While running from place to place she often removes her shoes, letting them hang by her belt and letting bare feet smack against the roads and myriad ways she travels, trading in comfort for better traction, unless she is about to enter a building, in which case the shoes go right back on.
Trouper's_Motley
Kit's trouper's motley is built for an acrobat; a sleeveless tunic and a pair of trousers colored very black and spun with woolen fibers that hide the weave, leaving it a seeming of one solid color. The tunic cleaves very close and tight to her body, so close she needs to undo buttons at her back to get in and out without ripping and tearing it, while her trousers stay loose enough to allow for movement, and fall little further than her knees. Azure blue embroidery is sewn across both, all the way down both sides on both tunic and trousers, following the subtle curve of her body before spreading across her upper torso and back in a senseless, symmetrical swirls, leaving only an inverted triangle over her belly and upper back recognizable shapes. Whenever possible, Kit will go unshod, for better traction and control.
Character Concept
She wouldn’t tell for all the mizas in the world, but Kit is insecure. All her life she's wondered at her own worth, and been too afraid to ask another for reassurance. But whatever doubts she has, Kit can't deal with it by hiding away and questioning. It's not in her nature; she fights it in the only way she knows how. By proving it wrong, by striving after every victory she can get her hands on. But it's never enough, and she overcompensates.
Every conversation is a confrontation, and Kit constantly maneuvers to be on top. She likes to speak first, likes to take hold of its course and shift control it herself. And in real conflict, whether social, physical or mental, she digs in her heels and does not back down.

“I’ve heard the tale so many times now I couldn’t forget it if I tried. They told it to me at the fireside, in the dark of the night, proud. I asked for it, and asked for it, and never stopped asking; but never seemed too tired to tell it. They told it most when I was very young, and while I have forgotten much from then the stories stay with me.”
“It started, they said, with a beautiful woman. Sometimes she was a trouper, or if they were feeling playful she might have been a beast in human guise, a consort of Ionu, or on one scandalous occasion, a traveling whore.
“But regardless, they said she was beautiful, they said that her hair was dark—fingering at mine—her eyes a vivid azure—and sometimes they looked in mine with a sly smile.
“She traveled to a great city; a tall city, a short city, a magnificent city, a filthy city. It was magical, it was mundane, and it was morbid. It was a different city with every telling. She met a man there; a pauper, a thief, a student, a master of all magics. He had a sharp nose, they told me as they flicked at mine, and an incredible mind—rapping their knuckles against my forehead. And she fell in love with him. He was a handsome man, and a strong one.
“They all told me that she came to him three times. On the first, he told her that he would never leave. On the second, he told her again that his life belonged to that place. And on the third, he realized that his heart belonged to her.
“When she was there it was my mother who told it, teasing, laughing, draped over my father. But he never spoke a word of it, and though he sometimes smiled, it seemed to me that when he listened he was very tired."

The Reimancer is confident with two elements and their combination. They have become more proficient at generating and manipulating Res. Zone of control is now several meters; speed and accuracy have increased, but are still far from perfect.
Auristics 15/100
A novice Aurist can focus on one aura at a time, discovering only basic facts about it. The process requires almost all of her concentration, has a short range and leaves her tired.
Morphing 2/100
A novice Morpher can perform small scale partial transformations with or without a model. Morphing is slow, somewhat awkward, and overall quite limited. Fancy shapes are absolutely not advised.
Hypnotism 0/100
The novice can only perform minor techniques such as suggestions and emotional responses on a single target at a time within close proximity. They are limited in their options, but they can still accomplish much with what they have.

In its base form the camouflage cloak is gray, warm, comfortable and firmly woven, though quite large on Kit's diminutive frame. It was a gift from uncle Wrenmae. In the wilderness, it blends with its surroundings when the wearer is very still they fade into the background. It only masks their sight, however, leaving sound and scent and other avenues of search open for investigation.

Lost Things
Xincen's Treval Codex
Kit's father's book, the Treval Codex is more a collection of stories and essays than any true mystical text, yet is Kit's only hard link to her father. It is heavily personalized, containing notes written in a strange mix of common and a curious cipher between the lines, presumably by her father.
Serpent Necklace
An enchanted slender chain, forged from links of twisted pewter, each the head of a serpent, eating up the tail of another, with garnet eyes, enchanted to choke the wearer.
Kit invokes the name of the Trickster daily and reverently. She believes in Ionu as not merely a deity but an inspiration, an example of freedom in a chaotic, broken world that so easily destroys such things. Since she was marked with Ionu's Illusionism her faith has only grown. She believes that Ionu gave her their mark because they had faith she would become someone interesting, and she seeks to do her utmost to make that a reality for Ionu's sake and her own. In Ionu's name, she actively seeks out new sensations to try.
She maintains a reverence and respect for many other gods, firstmost Akajia for her forever alleged connection to Ionu. Kit admires her connection to both secrets kept and uncovered and asks Akajia guard her secrets and has found herself praying more deeply to the lady of the night as her path through life grows more treacherous and a quiet step, keen eyes and tight lips become essential, and offers her prayers in the form of secrets she has uncovered. She offers Rhaus prayers and tributes before her performances, though her busking lays at the very edge of his dominion.
Gnosis
Illusionism
Marked
Those so marked with one of Ionu's gnosis marks can create minor illusions involving a single sense (touch, taste, smell, sight, sound). The illusionist can easily change multiple aspects of themselves and their bodies. Hair color, eye color, the tone of their skin, the accent of their voice is all very reasonable for them. However, they cannot stack illusions, meaning if their chosen illusions involves sight, all their subsequent illusions at that particular time must include sight. They cannot, however, alter sight and sound at the same time. But they can, however, affect multiple sights and sounds with enough focus to maintain multiple illusions. Minor illusions last for only a single hour, and they can have up to ten illusions ongoing at a time. If they wish, they can trade multiple illusions for longer time periods. That means they can have up to one illusion for ten hours or ten illusions for one hour or any combination therein. Again, multiple illusions can only effect one type of perception at a time. If they have ten illusions ongoing, all ten illusions must affect the same sense, e.g. sight. Minor illusions can easily change numbers on playing cards, dice or the appearance of a street or shop sign. Minor illusions can affect multiple people at a time.

My mother and Whet always called me little fox. Not sure if I like it anymore. Makes me feel a child.
3. How old are you?
Seventeen autumns old.
4. What is your height?
5' 0"
5. What is your weight?
95lbs
Aesthetics :
1. Describe yourself as you see yourself.
Sometimes you hear stories about how people can't help but fade away under pressure, agreeing to anything, slipping away and out. I'm the opposite; I can't pull out, I have to keep up my side until the end. Whenever someone lets themselves slip back and agree they give. I won't give up. No one will just outright give me anything, so the only option is to squeeze them dry.
. . . There's a part of me that I'm scared to let show. It's easy enough to see that I'm my mother's daughter, but I'm Dad's too, a magician's daughter, and Djed fascinates me. It was just my father's gift once, but now I'm coming to like it. People would hate me for it, I'm sure.
2. What is your favorite body feature?
You can't cut it up into pieces like that; they all work together. I couldn't bear to be separated from any part of myself, they're all too important. But if I had to pick one in particular that I like, I guess I'd pick my hands. Thumbs are important things.
2. How physically fit are you?
I'm not good with raw strength or power, but what I'm quick, and I'd love to see any mercenary try to jump like I do. I'm proud of my body.
3. How do you typically dress and what is your style?
Practical clothes are best. Dresses and skirts are beautiful, but there's nothing I love more than moving, and none of those are particularly well suited to that. I wear breeches, a tunic and a belt to keep it all in place, with a chemise underneath. I like browns and dark reds, loose around the cuffs. I've been called weird but I've seen much stranger in Alvadas. For performance, I wear the same sort of clothes, but colored like a messy painter's palette. It's eye-catching.
Family :
1. Who are your parents and what are they like?
My father was something of a mage, I never learned all the details. My mother, a traveling performer, wooed my father. I didn't see them much. They traveled a lot, and they dropped me off my my uncle's when I was still very small. Never wanted to take me with them when they came back.
My father came back for a while, when I was thirteen. I've spent more time with him than with my mother . . . Though he wasn't very healthy then.
2. Do you have any brothers or sisters?
Not that I'm aware of. Not that I would know.
3. What is your extended family like?
My uncle is a nervous merchant, and his wife a fussy mother. They're good people in their own way, but they never worked out what to do with me. Waited for my parents to pick me up and take me away again, when they never did. I have cousins, more girls than boys. My uncle likes to marry them off to foreign families to set up trade alliances when they first bleed.
He worshiped Ionu in a hopeless sort of way, like he had given up on ever living up to what he represented. I'm afraid of turning out like him and my aunt.
4. Do you consider close friends as important or more/less important than family?
There's no one that important, though I suppose there could be. I haven't put a lot of thought into it.
5. Do you treat animals like family?
Are you stupid? No.
Location :
1. Where were you born?
On the road, I don't know exactly where.
2. Where do you live now?
. . .
3. If you could live anywhere in Mizahar where would that be?
Alvadas; I grew up there, and I love it. Or maybe on the road with the Inverted and my mother. It's always been my dream.
4. Where do you fear to be?
Same answer. Alvadas. If I could stay there I would, but there's something waiting for me now.
Traits :
1. Do you have any physical weaknesses (disease, scars, and missing limbs?)
I have tons of little scars, but only two worth mentioning. They're on the palms of my hands. It's not that they're too nasty to look at . . . It's like they haven't ever healed since my initiation in some weird way. Whenever I push my reimancy too hard they start opening up again. There's something messed up with them, I know it.
2. Are you right handed or left handed?
Right handed.
3. What languages do you speak? What do you sound like? Do you have an accent?
I speak Common very well, and I've learned a smattering of Isur since they come down here to trade their wares so often. Other than that, I know some gestures in Pavi, but that's about it. I'm told that my words tend to slur together whenever I talk to someone out of Alvadas, but they're the ones who sound odd to me.
4. Do you have any odd mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
When I worry, I start chewing on my lips. I talk with my hands; when I'm certain, I close my hand into a fist, make wide gestures with both hands to indicate size, twiddle with my thumb when I'm bored . . . I could go on for hours describing them all.
5. Do you have (or want to get) any tattoos or piercing? Why do you have them (or will get them) ?
The idea is intriguing, but there's nothing I want to put on. I already have a mark from my God, and that'd be better than any tattoo. And if I think something looks cool, I can just magic it up for an hour or so. Less hassle that way.
Occupations :
1. What is your occupation?
I do acrobatics in the street and busk the crowds for money.
2. Do you like/dislike your work? Why?
I love doing it. I love the flips, the tricks and the look on the audience's faces when I awe them again, and more than any of that I love doing it. It makes me feel truly alive, you know? But when I'm not, it's hard to think of anything but the fact that whether or not I get to eat depends on whether I can make it happen again.
3. If you could be anything you wanted to, what would you be?
I would love to be an acrobat in an Inverted troupe. Only without the travel. Travel sucks.
4. What occupation do you admire the most? Why?
The Inverted are amazing. Ionu's nature lives in Alvadas, but they take it elsewhere, and make people love them.
5. What occupation do you least like? Why?
Maledictors. Do you even know what they do? They borrow power from the dead. All I can think of is someone carving up one of my bones for a necklace to help them jump better. It's just disturbing to think of.
Childhood :
1. What sort of child were you?
I loved stories, I chased after stories. Every little clever tale about Ionu I ate up . . . but more personally, I heard a lot of stories about Mom. About what she did. About the Inverted. I was sure I'd be one of them one day, sure if I just practiced and practiced I would get there, and Mom and Dad would take me with them.
I still love stories, but don't hold out much hope for that delusion anymore.
2. What is your favorite memory from childhood?
My mother didn't come back often, and she didn't always visit, but when she did I was so happy to see her and Dad. I barely remember her face now, but I remember the important things. Her words. Her presence.
3. What is your worst memory from childhood?
My mother and father had pet names for each other. He called her 'my Kova,' and she called him 'my Ivak.' I was sitting by his bedside when he died, and before he died he called me 'my Kova,' tried to kiss me.
That messed me up for a while.
4. What sort of relationship did you have with your parents?
Distant. My mother is a capacious sort, rarely serious, never focused on anything for longer than a week, and she was never there. I spent a great deal of time with my father before the end, but I can't help but think that he saw me as less his daughter and more his last chance to make his touch on the world.
5. Who was your most influential rolemodel?
My mother. She was never bound by anything, always full of life, dedicated heart and soul to Ionu. She was clever, smart, and when she wanted something she found a way to take it and bow before she left. What else is there to strive for?
Education :
1. What sort of education do you have?
I wasn't formally educated if that's what you mean. My uncle knew some people, some street performers, and I did some favors for them, and in exchange they taught me what I know.
2. Do you like/dislike learning?
I dislike doing things I don't care about. If I'm interested, I'll pay attention. If it'll help me, I'll pay attention. If not . . . I hope you've got that window latched down tight.
3. Where or how did you learn most of your skills/abilities?
Like I said, I got in touch with a few street performers who didn't mind me tagging along to learn. Darilava and Whet Are the important ones. Darilava was a Symenestra who was too old to pose any threat who had all the talent, and Whet a human from Sylira who knew everything there was to know about busking. They taught me a great deal.
My father gave me two gifts. The first was a book about magic. The second was reimancy. He didn't have time to teach me more than the basics.
4. How do you learn best?
By watching. By doing. I'm not a good thinker, or a planner, and listening to someone talk about doing something isn't near as helpful as watching them as they do it.
5. What are your educational goals for the future?
I want to be better at what I already know . . . And I want to be able to learn how to take care of myself so I can face Alvadas and know I'll be able to match what drove me out.
Relationships :
1. Do you form close bonds with people? Why? Why not?
I can make friends . . . I don't know that I've had anyone I'm really close with, though.
2. Do you trust people easily? If not, why not?
There are some things that are fine to share with anyone. And others that aren't. Ever. If people understand everything about me, then I'll be the one who gets tricked. That's working against me.
3. Do you consider yourself straight, gay, bi, or something else?
Well . . . I'll felt things for girls and boys. Not like I've really explored this further.
4. Have you ever been kissed? If so, describe the first time.
It was busking practice, in the street. My mentor said if I could ask strangers for kisses, I'd have no trouble asking them for money.
5. Have you ever had sex? If so, describe the first time.
No!
Likes and Dislikes :
1. What are your hobbies?
I like climbing, running and motion. It makes me feel strong, like I'm in control. In the moment I lose myself in the action, and worry and concern fades away into the effort and the feeling of life.
2. Do you like to read?
I don't know. Dry things are impossible for me to bear. I have a taste for stories though. There are tons of those in the book my father gave to me. Tons of dry stuff too though. I don't like those very much.
3. What annoys you more than anything else?
Being wrong. It makes me look stupid in front of everybody, and while I deal well enough with being disliked I can't stand the thought of being seen as stupid.
4. What do you find the most relaxing activity to do?
Stretching has a way of releasing all the tension in me. There's nothing quite like a long stretch after a hard day's work.
5. What kinds of things embarrass you? Why?
I can deal with pressure, crowds and people. Like too, even. If someone starts yelling, I can yell back. But if people are watching and expecting me to get it right, and I screw up . . . I don't blush much anymore, but bungling something up in front of other people will get me every time.
Favorites :
1. What is your favorite color or colors?
Blue.
2. What is your favorite time of day?
You seen the stars at night? It's wonderful.
3. What is the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen?
I think this might be why I said night, but once, I saw what looked like fish made of stars swimming through the streets of Alvadas. I guess, actually, that would make it Alvadas. The city knows what you need, and if you just admit to yourself that you want it it will show you. No other city can do that for you, I know.
4. What do you like to eat? What do you hate to eat?
Grapes are delicious. I love fruits, spices and fish; anything with flavor. I can make food taste like just about anything I want, so what I want now is something different, something that can surprise me and still be delicious. Hate? I tried beer once. Tasted like rank piss.
5. What is your favorite type of weather? Does any kind scare you?
Cloudy enough for shade and just cold enough to chill. Sun is nice and all, but it's not so nice when you're performing in the streets all day. It gets you sweaty, tired and burned. Really wicked storms can frighten me.
Outlook :
1. Are you optimistic or pessimistic?
I guess I would say that I'm optimistic. Mizahar is full of opportunities for for people who can reach out and grab it. I'm not to the point where I can really do that, but I think maybe I'm getting there.
2. What are your religious views?
A God's favor isn't something you should earn simply by holding on to something, by being passively faithful or being related to others. It should be about proving yourself on their own terms. Prayers are empty words to bolster your own spirit; in action real faith is revealed. The Gods are distant and strange, an existence to strive to reach.
3. Would you be able to kill?
In defense of my life? I think I could, maybe. In cold blood? . . . No. I think that may be a weakness.
4. What are your views on sex?
My cousins were all sent away the moment they were ready. The moment they were ready, to be obedient wives to strangers for their father. That's not me. I'm my own. If I ever do find someone I want to unite with, and that's a big if, it'll be on my terms, not theirs. I won't be someone's broodmare, someone's submissive wife. I'm more than that.
5. What, in your opinion, makes a successful life?
Leaving a mark on Mizahar, in a way I choose.
Actions :
1. What is the worst and best thing you’ve ever done?
When I had the chance, I couldn't kill a man. Now, because I couldn't, I can't stay in the city I've spent my whole life in. I think it says good things about me, but I feel so stupid. I've been driven out of my home.
2. What is your greatest regret?
I regret that I wasn't able to make my father recognize me for who I was in the end. Instead, I was afraid of doing anything that might have upset him and went along with everything he suggested instead of letting him know who I was.
3. What is your best/worst memory?
I think it'd by my father's last chimes. I'm a horrible daughter, I know.
4. If you could change one thing about your past, what would it be and why?
I would want to have stayed with my parents. I still don't know why they left me in Alvadas, why they never took me with them when they passed through later. There was something wrong with me I'm sure, something that made me not good enough. It would bother me so much less if I knew what it was.
5. What are you the most proud of doing in your life?
Ionu marked me. It was a terrifying night, but it was worth seeing them there. I must have been doing something right.
Emotions :
1. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings with others?
I let people know when I'm angry, when I'm happy . . . But nothing that'll let them think I'm weak. If I'm honest about a little bit of myself, no one questions what's underneath that. If I really trust someone, really trust them, maybe I'll let them in on what's going on beneath.
2. Do you have any biases or prejudices?
Wizards unnerve me . . . And I know that's hypocritical! It's just, I grew up on the stories. I can deal with most, but maldictors and spiritists are just wrong; messing with things they have no business messing with. The dead should remain dead. I'm not sure how I would deal with a Nuit, if I ever met one.
3. What makes you happy?
Movement is a big one; it's easy to forget my problems when I'm spinning and jumping. Makes me feel free. Good stories are interesting too, old stories, strange stories. I love hearing about the Gods and their squabbles.
4. Who or what, if anything, would you die for?
There's nothing out there this important to me. Maybe there will be one day. Dunno.
5. What makes you angry?
I hate how helpless I am. I want to be myself, I want to be able to control my circumstances but it never works! I hate living in fear. I hate having to flee my home. Those are the big things. I want control, and when that slips away from me it gets my blood up. I've been angry a lot lately.
Relationships :
1. In general, how do you treat others?
It's like a game. It sounds cold when I say it like that, but it's so much more interesting that way, so much more fun for both. If it's business I'll just get it over with and move on, but if I'm interested I'll circle and probe and tease more out. People are like a puzzle to be solved and set aside when they get boring. If they're truly interesting then they'll never get boring, and will always have secrets.
It's more honest than false friendships, bearing with other people for the sake of politeness. And if you ever find someone who is that interesting, you have a source for a lifetime of entertainment. What's not to like?
2. Who is the most important person in your life, and why?
What I do, I do for my sake.
3. Who is the person you respect the most, and why?
Again, my mother. There is no more independent person in all of Mizahar. She scares me, but I look up to her too.
4. Do you have a spouse or significant other? If not, describe an ideal lover.
No, I don't. But if I ever had one, he'd need to be smart enough to entertain me. He couldn't expect me to slow down or ever stop. I'm not a housewife, and he'd have to be okay with that. Wouldn't want me to change for him. I'm not expecting this to happen, not really, and I'm perfectly okay with that.
5. Do you trust anyone to protect you? Who, and why?
I trust myself, because I've held out well enough so far, and because no one else has offered.
Group Situations :
1. Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict?
I don't shirk back and wait for the nastiness to creep through to the surface. I make sure everyone knows what I think, and don't let conventions stop me.
2. Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social situations?
When I can, and don't see anyone willing to take the reins, I will. If there's another leader, I don't mind that too much either, but I hope they don't expect me to scrap my forehead against the ground and grovel. That's not happening.
3. Do you like interacting with large groups of people? Why or why not?
There's always a feeling of nervousness before you get up in front of a lot of people, but I've learned to push past that. I'm a performer; I do flips and jumps in front of people and try to convince them that they want to watch and pay me for it. I'm many things, but not shy.
4. Do you care what others think of you?
It means a great deal to me if it's coming from someone I care about. I can appreciate an auidence's discomfort, and change my routine accordingly to get more for my busking, but it doesn't really impact me. If it's someone I care about, yeah, it matters. There are so few people worth talking to. I don't like losing them.
5. What do you think of others, in general?
Most are boring. Some are dangerous, or interesting. It's important for me to be careful when I realize that someone isn't the first, because they could be either of the later, or both.
Self Image :
1. What is your greatest strength as a person?
I'm collected. When I want to do something, I get up and do it, not worrying, no second-guessing. I act, and I am wholly focused on acting. There's a strength in that focus I think. It separates the person who panics and falls apart from the one who sits up and does something about the trouble they're caught in.
2. What is your greatest weakness?
Same thing. I'm rash, quick to assume a conflict and jump in, and last to consider that maybe my decision was the wrong one. The same thing that makes me decisive also makes me confrontational, and it rubs all sorts of people the wrong way. And though sure, I act fast, my mistakes can be very big.
3. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I would make myself stronger. In Djed, in strength, in whatever. I just want to feel less helpless, less vulnerable.
4. Are you generally introverted or extroverted?
I talk a lot, but I think that's more to do with all the busking I do. I say a lot, sure, but I think more. I don't speak just to hear the sound of my own voice; everything has a purpose in the game of conversation.
5. Are you generally organized or messy?
I like to keep my things neat. In Alvadas the madness of the city was everywhere, but it at least left my home untouched. I need to keep physically and mentally together. The city made me strong; constantly changing, it forced me to find order in myself. Keeping everything in order is important, because if I can't manage myself then how in Ionu's name am I supposed to draw in other people?
Beliefs :
1. What God or Goddess do you find most appealing, if any?
Ionu is my mother's God, my city's God, and my God. It is clever and knows ways to weave lies to make what it wants become truth. I look up to Ionu.
2. Which God or Goddess do you fear, if any?
Krysus' name always sends a shiver down my spine. A goddess of murder and pain? Count me out.
3. Do you have any Gnosis Marks? If so, how did you receive them?
Ionu gave me his blessing after I escaped from a strange man in Alvadas who could change his shape. Apparently I was not the first he'd captured . . . but the first to get away.
4. What lengths would you go to to please your deity?
I'm not a blind follower, but I believe that Ionu would only use me for a purpose that he thought might help make me into what he wants me to become. If he asked something of me, I would at least try to do as he wanted.
5. Where do you draw the line at pleasing your deity? What is too much?
I don't have a lot that he could destroy, but . . . My body is important to me. It's the only thing that's purely, truly mine, no matter what else is going on. If it asked me to ruin it, I don't think I could go through with it.
Life & Death :
1. What do you absolutely live for?
Standing taller than my mother's shadow, living up to Ionu's expectations for me.
2. What is the best part of life?
The look of wonder on a child's face. A laugh on a windy day. The feeling that comes from leaping through the air. The little moments.
3. What is the best part of death?
It's the closing act. The last scene. And once you die, no one can take any of the meaning of what you accomplished away from you.
4. If you could choose, how would you want to die?
At a time and place of my choice, laughing.
5. What is the one thing for which you would most like to be remembered after your death?
Being free and a little wild. Going out with a bang, and bowing with a flourish as I leave.
