Orrikahn Flesh is ever so sweet, don't you think? Basic Information Nicknames: Orri, Orr, 'kahn, Whitey, Feathers. Race: Kelvic, Ta'rukahl Birthday & Age: 74th of Summer, 506 AV (4 years old.) Gender: Male Physical Description In his human form he is fairly light of build and lean of stature, yet it is clear by the taut musculature of the young man that he is far from weak. Standing at five foot ten inches, he isn't exactly the largest specimen to have walked the earth and he weighs approximately one hundred and seventy pounds, lacking any true bulk to his physique. The most striking and prominent physical trait Orrikahn possesses is his almost complete lack of colour. His hair is of the palest, purest white save for the tips which have been dyed a deep and bloody red. It reaches well below his shoulders in length and frames the alabaster skin of the man's delicately handsome face, which is decorated with an elegant black tribal tattoo that stretches from his forehead, around his startlingly red eyes and down to the lower half of his cheeks. His upper lip is also tattooed, black ink covering it completely with a thick line descending over his lower lip and terminated just above his chin. A pale neck slopes down onto surprisingly sturdy shoulders that descend to a well-defined, tightly muscled torso. On his left breast is a second tattoo which marks him of the Brazen Moon family and is identical to that of his brother Ossifrage's, taking the form of a stylized red and black crescent moon with several scythe-like protrusions erupting from the outer curve. As an animal, Orrikahn takes the form of a large Ta'rukahl, a sacred Myrian bird of prey that has close ties to the Moon. With a wingspan of ten feet he is one of the largest specimens of his species and makes for a most impressive sight, be it day or night. In the light of the moon, however, is when his true beauty is made plain for all to see, the alabaster hue of his feathers set aglow as if they held a piece of the moon's ethereal light within them. Usually, his plumage is a faintly pearlescent white that shimmers in the sunlight, his wing and tail feathers tipped with a dark, bloody red. His crest is large and impressive, with feathers of the same hue as the crimson of his eyes which gives him an eerie, blood-filled gaze. His feet and beak are a dark black in colour and both are fully capable of rending flesh, with the elongated beak cruelly hooked and the large, curved talons as sharp as any blade. Character Concept An albino, this young Kelvic is highly susceptible to direct exposure to sunlight, which causes intense pain and burning. To help prevent this, he will typically slather himself in mud, wear a hooded cloak, stick to the shade or only go out at night. Bright lights also tend to hurt his sensitive eyes, so he does not favour going out and about int he day time. As for his personality, Orrikahn isn't what most people would consider to be a good person. He is almost utterly without morals and remorse, often letting nothing stand in the way of what he wants. He will kill without so much as batting and eyelid and will not hesitate to inflict a great amount of pain on someone to extract even the most frivolous morsel of information that he desires to sate his curiosity. Even so, despite his less than heroic mindset, he is an exceptionally friendly and charming person, quick to smile and very easy to get along with. Unless one were to witness him committing some heinous act, it would be difficult if not impossible to guess that he was anything other than a down to earth, affable and immeasurably approachable young man. Ethics Orrikahn is perfectly capable of comprehending laws and social constraints, understanding why someone would want to act as most people do in regards to others. He simply doesn't care. He is not completely without any redeeming qualities, however, as he is extremely loyal to the very, very few people he actually grows to genuinely like and respect, such as his brother Ossifrage. He greatly respects the Goddess Myri, and by extension, her people and thus will not harm any unless under very strenuous circumstances. Everyone else, however, is fair game and likely to be killed on a whim if such could be done without getting caught or punished as a result. Likes: Killing, eating and flying. Flesh and blood, combat, weaponry, tactics. His brother. Myri, Leth and Caiyha. Night, the darkness and the Moon. Dislikes: Weakness. The sun, bright lights. The Brazen Moon The Brazen Moon is the family that Orrikahn and his brother Ossifrage make up, being the sole members. Having killed and eaten their parents, the brothers decided to become their own family unit and are terrifyingly loyal to each other, their bond of brotherhood eclipsing all else. Character History The second and youngest son born to Kelvics parents, his mother a mouse and his father a ferret, Orrikahn also proved to be their last. Having been born a Ta'rukhal, he possessed all the intense and savagely undeniable predatory nature of the Falyndarian Moon Eagle. His elder brother Ossifrage, being a Lammergeier and thus a bird of prey, also shared this voracious appetite for flesh. Having spawned two sons who's animal forms have you on their list of habitual prey was something of a recipe of disaster for the two ill-fated parents, and it did indeed prove to be their undoing. Naturally, being aware of their sons' hunting instincts the parents did their best to avoid both being out when the boys went hunting and allowing the boys out when they themselves were on forays into the jungle. As such, they forbade their sons from hunting while they were away in an attempt to prevent their own children from giving in to their natures and devouring them. Ossifrage's unique way of viewing the world, coupled with Orrikahn's lust for the hunt resulted in their disobeying the curfew that had been placed upon them one night when the crescent moon's merciless light shone down upon the earth. Shortly after setting off on the hunt, they came across two small prey animals scurrying along over the ground. Separating from each other, the two birds of prey went after different victims, Ossifrage electing to pluck the ferret from below while Orrikahn plummeted towards the smaller mouse with terrifying speed. The tiny rodent squealed and squirmed as blood spurted from it's soft flesh in vivid spurts, the Ta'rukahl's talons sinking into the tender muscle with pitiless strength. Rising high into the air, aglow as the light of the moon washed over him, he tossed the mouse into the air, only to catch it again before it could hit the ground below. After he had done this several more times, he grew bored of the game and tore into the mouse, gulping down the meal with great relish. It was surprising how good of a meal their parents had made, really. After that, the brothers grew to depend on each other and trust each other utterly, so much so they decided to form the Brazen Moon family together. Having grown up in Taloba, it was natural that they would take up arms and learn the art of war. Orrikahn's weapon of choice was the Jagr'ath, a vicious weapon designed to tear the opponent's flesh to shreds while inflicting as much pain as mortally possible. His instructor in such was a Myrian male called Tarik, someone Orrikahn actually grew to respect over time. Falyndar is a brutal place, however, and there are many dangers in the jungle. On a soujourn into the wilderness, Tarik was slain by a Dhani warrior who took the Myrian's Jagr'ath weapon before fleeing. Orrikahn had been following a short distance behind and arrived just in time to catch sight of the Dhani as it fled with Tarik's weapon. Death was a common thing in Falyndar, something you tended to get used to if you stayed a length there, so Orrikahn barely batted an eyelid at the torn body of his mentor. The theft of the man's prized and cherished Jagr'ath, something his instructor had prized beyond most things in life, enraged Orrikahn immensely. After a short span of following the Dhani's tracks, he ambushed it and engaged it in combat. Their battle was a swift, brutal affair and Orrikahn came out the victor, with Tarik's Jagr'ath as his prize. Realising that the blade was not truly his, yet loathe to waste such a fine piece, he had it reforged with cold iron, with the Brazen moon insignia forming the weapon's hilt and pommel. Apart from encountering the God Leth on one Festival of the Moon, Orrikahn's life largely passed without incident. His future, though, is likely not to be so uneventful. Gnosis and Religion Having grown up in Taloba, Orrikahn shares the Myrian's polytheistic tradition and follows several gods. Obviously, given the location of his upbringing and the people he was raised by, Orrikahn worships the Goddess of War, Myri. He is utterly ruthless in battle, willing to do anything in order to come out the victor, and tends to apply such values to life in general. Being a Ta'rukahl, it is perhaps natural that he follows the God of the Moon, Leth, and he has indeed encountered the God Himself on one occasion. As a Kelvic, Orrikahn has very close ties to the animal world and nature in general. Despite his ruthless, savage ways, he is thankful for the prey animals that grant him nourishment, the trees that grant him shade and the water that slakes his thirst, all of which would not be without the Goddess Caiyha. Myri - Rank One; Speed Increase Essentially raised as a Myrian, Orrikahn is as much a part of their society as any Myrian might be, participating in all of their day to day activities as well as hunting for food, patrolling and conducting raids on enemies. Because of this he received a Gnosis mark from Myri when he came of age, just as Myrian youths do upon reaching maturity. Character Skills Skills

Weaponry The Jagged Moon
Heirloom Item Material: Cold Iron Description: The Jagged Moon is a Jagr'ath, a weapon almost as large as a greatsword yet much wider. Cruel hooked and barbed along the edges allow one to catch an enemies weapon and twist it out of their hands as well as inflict horrific wounds upon their person. The flat of the blade is rough and covered with small protrusions of metal, best compared to the surface of the tool used to grate cheese, save this version is used to rip skin and flesh from bone in a truly brutal fashion. The hilt of this fearsome weapon takes the form of the Brazen Moon's family symbol, with the scythe-like protrusion facing towards the enemy, serving to protect the bearer's hands from a great deal of danger as well as declaring Orrikahn's allegiance. Spiked Gauntlets
Material: Cold Iron Description: Forged from cold iron, these gauntlets are truly savage in their design. Enameled in bone white and decorated with various trinkets crafted from the skeletons of small creatures, they possess an uneasy appearance which the inch long spikes upon the knuckles only serve to enhance. Bolas
Material: Cold Iron Description: Orrikahn's bolas are essentially three metal spheres attached by a length of chain, which are spun around and loosed at the right moment to hurtle towards a target and whirl about their person, causing a great deal of crushing damage upon impact.
