After he got that scar, his fellow males stopped saying he looked "too girly". There is an dark and petrifying aura that might seemed to come from him when he was alive but seems to come from him even more now that he's dead. People often did and do think Maurice is older than he really is but he never cared enough to correct this miss-assumption. Character Concept : Maurice was an easy going kid growing up but as he got older and he allowed his hair to get longer he got teased more. He was brutally bullied at the age of 11 causing him to carry a knife from then on. Not that it was allowed but he did it anyways. His heart hardened and he shut everyone out and he continues to carry that mentality to this very day. His soulmist isn't as chaotic or as blurry as many other ghosts seeing that he doesn't want to kill or even harm anyone save the people that hurt him. His eyes now burn an in an even icier blue because they now keep his victims paralized as he blinks toward them closing in rapidly for an attack that will inflict as much pain on them as he felt when they afflected whatever form of pain upon him. Character History : Maurice grew up with his mother and little sister after his father left them when he was 4 years old. His mother had suffered from severe depression but it became even worse as the years went on. By the age of 8 Maurice was forced to act as a mother and father for not only himself but also for his little sister who was 5 at the time. At the age of 12 he was badly injured by a snake and this brought his mother back to reality when she realized that he could have died from the poison or from the blood loss. On his 13th birthday his sister died of an unknown virus and at the age of 14 Maurice committed suicide after seeing his mother dead on their couch. The last thing he saw was his mother's own suicide note and all the pills she had laid out on the table.
