Taryn had taken his seat, but fidgetted while he sat. And, just as soon as the woman had addressed him, he got back up once more to reply. She was taller than him, and so it seemed awkward for him to try and converse looking up at her.
"Hello, yourself," he smiled, bowing with a flourish to the lady. When he rose, he quietly continued, "Are you quite alright? You had given me a scare, with what condition you were in." He spoke in tones that the larger men wouldn't be able to hear over the clamor. The man that had fed the Pycon woman offered Taryn a coin as well. Taryn hesitated. He was unfond of old clay, but to deny this gesture of goodwill-?
"If couldn't possibly impose-" Taryn began uneasily, fidgetting with his hands. He looked towards the man's face, and saw that he really wanted Taryn to take it, "But if you insist, I would be much obliged, sir."
Only a fool would turn down a free meal.
