Bright had stopped running once he had found himself at a far enough distance from his sister, so that she would not follow him, just in case she decided to attack him for the problems he had just caused her. He had steadied his pace to a slow walk, making sure not to bump into any of the other roamers going about their daily business. Looking around he noticed how much busier this place had gotten since he had left.
The skies seemed so much clearer as of late. There had been a storm a few days ago, but since then, nothing but blue skies with the occasional lone cloud. He could get used to this. Honestly, it was so much better for his health. He kept a calm expression on his face, not something that would make him unnaproachable, or something that made him seem overly happy. Just...calm.
He saw many familiar faces as he passed through, and many new ones, as well. Children were running about, playing happily, and men and women conversed, and were doing all sorts of routine activities all around him. This was what he had been missing when he had been in the Sea of Grass. That god forsaken land had nothing on this.
He stopped for a moment, letting a large group of riders pass by in front of him. They looked as if they had just returned from a hunting mission. Quietly he waited, before beginning to walk again.
